Do we change?

Every few years or so I feel like I change.  I need new things to learn, new people to talk to, and new things to do.  Not sure if anyone else feels like this.  I am 32 and I found this information about my age bracket.

28-35 years

The changes become more subtle as the years pass. The next cycle from twenty eight to thirty-five, for instance, is one where the creative process of mind becomes most active. Researchers and inventors seem to make their greatest advances during these years. It is interesting to note that physical science finds evidence of the reason for this in the fact that the association centres of the brain come to their peak efficiency at about thirty-five years of age.
This is even more interesting when we see that most of the great religious teachers and philosophers came to some vital experience at thirty-five. Jesus, Buddha, Paul, Dante and Jacob Behmen were all in the region of thirty-five at the point of their greatest insights. It would seem then, that if there is an inspirational influence at work in the life, it would possibly reach its peak during these years in and around thirty-five.
Here we take stock of ourselves and the emotional influences that have shaped our personality. We begin to determine what is us and what traits we have been pressured by family, peers or society to adopt.

"Rudolph Steiner, the great teacher of Anthroposophy said that the seven-year cycles continue throughout life, and are of the utmost importance to doctors, teachers, psychiatrists and the social sciences. Without some smattering of these changes it is difficult for anyone to understand the relationship of any given individual with his or her environment. So I have tried to summarise what Steiner and others have said about the cycles."

Hindsight is always 20/20.  Which I believe we can reflect on during this time in our age.  I know I could never understand this statement until now.  I was too naive to believe my choices would affect my life so much.

You got to start somewhere!

Serendipitous: lucky in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries.

This blog is Serendipitous in itself.  I hope to write about my discoveries in life and maybe in doing so help others with discovering something too!

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother to two boys who are the loves of my life.  I am surrounded by boys in my house, the dog is a boy too!  I must say that being a Mom is the best, hardest and scariest thing I will ever do.

This will be a place where I share my thoughts about my life.  I feel like I live an interesting life somedays, and others are pretty mundane.  Thank God for the mundane days though, we all need a day off sometimes, right?

I am also a Massage Therapist, that being my profession, I come into contact with some interesting people.  I will probably talk about some of my funny situations, but of course I will never divulge their personal information.

So that is a little bit about me, I have a hard time saying more right now.  This being my first blog I will probably start slow.  Thanks for visiting and I promise to have more soon.
